Four Slinger H.S. seniors seriously injured in accident

UPDATE on Friday, July 22 accident in Slinger. At 4:58 p.m., the Slinger Police Department and Fire Department were dispatched to the Intersection of Highway 60 and Lovers Lane for a personal Injury traffic crash, with multiple persons injured.

 

When responding officers arrived on scene, two vehicles were located with very heavy damage and a traffic standard was knocked down. Officers further located four injured occupants of a sedan, two of which were trapped and required extraction.

 

Slinger Fire Department and Jackson Fire Department assisted with extraction of the females.

 

One female was transported to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Life.

 

The three other occupants were transported to area hospitals by ambulance. All four girls have very serious but non-life threatening.

 

All four girls were 17 years old. Officers from the Jackson Police Department, Hartford Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the crash scene.

 

As of 9:30 p.m., all lanes of Highway 60 were re-open. The crash remains under investigation.
