January 17, 2022 – Town of Erin, WI – On Monday morning, January 17, 2022, just before 11 a.m., the Hartford Fire & Rescue Department responded to Erin School for a fire in a hallway.
School staff evacuated the building and extinguished the small electrical fire prior to the fire department’s arrival.
Fire personnel assisted with ventilating the building and deemed the building to be safe for the children to return to the classrooms.
The fire was determined to be accidental, and the damage was confined to a water fountain in the hallway.
