January 12, 2022 – West Bend, WI – A giant American flag hangs over the parking lot at Phillip Funeral Home on Paradise Drive in West Bend, WI as a mark of respect for Arlyn A. Sarauer, 78, who died December 31, 2021.
Sarauer was part of the West Bend Fire Department from 1969 and retired as a Battalion Chief in 2000.
Across the street at Horicon Bank the U.S. flag flies at half-staff as a mark of respect to Mineral Point firefighters James Ludlum and Captain Brian Busch, who lost their lives when a semi hit their firetruck as the pair were responding to another crash at the time.
