January 4, 2022 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend Police and Fire Commission acted on several appointments Tuesday afternoon, January 4, 2022, regarding rank at the West Bend Police Department.
There have been several changes at the West Bend P.D. within the past two months.
- On December 15, 2021 Captain Tim Dehring was named West Bend’s new police chief. Dehring’s actual commission as chief starts January 8, 2022.
- Lieutenant Matt Rohlinger appointed Captain.
- Joe Wenzler was appointed Sergeant and Brandon Knepprath to Detective effective Sunday, January 9.
