December 27, 2021 – West Bend, WI – Two weeks after confirming the Shell West gas station, 3100 W. Washington Street, in West Bend, WI sold, it has also been confirmed the Shell station 815 W. Paradise Drive is closing.
A note from owner Patrick Osowski was posted on social media.
The store on Paradise Drive also posted that the shop will not reopen in 2022. The clerk said the building will be razed.

That section of property, and even the parcel to the east has been through some change over the years.
On a history note: Paradise Drive used to be home to Paradise Auto Wash. Owner Doug Pesch had a five-bay car wash at 715 W. Paradise Drive. Pesch bought the property in 1996 with a couple other partners and sold the house and garage on the property for $1. That house was moved to Alpine Road and later that year Pesch built the five-bay carwash. In 2013 Associated Bank bought the property for $1.15 million.

When Osowski sold the Highway 33 Shell station he said, “It’s really hard to compete with a multi-billion-dollar company.”
West Bend currently has five Kwik Trips; two opened in town in 2021.

Osowski is not the only gas station sold.
