The Washington County Sheriff’s are releasing details on a fire Saturday afternoon at 4:16 p.m. in the area of Pioneer Road and Division Road in the Town of Germantown.
A 54-year-old Port Washington man was operating a KRONE Big M 420 cutter in the field and while operating the machine the man observed smoke coming from the machine and the fire quickly spread.
The cutter became fully involved. Fire departments from Richfield and Germantown responded and extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.
