The Pahl girls came up with a brilliant idea to show local law enforcement how much they’re appreciated and on Friday, July 22 everyone is welcome to come to Toucan Custard, 600 N. Main Street in West Bend, to sign a banner of thanks.
Toucan is also working on a special Mint Explosion ice cream specially created by Violet and Cece. Toucan will donated 10% of sales from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. that day and that amount will be matched by DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen.
Behind the scenes there was a LOT going on. The girls dove in and got to taste testing right away. Then they helped Jackie with the “smooshing” process.
The making of the video was a bit like herding cats. The girls had plenty of sugar to get revved up AND on a ‘director’s note’ I asked that they use their “outside voice.” Hence, what appears to be some yelling by Cece. But… she followed direction well and did exactly what I asked.
Cece is 4 years old, full of energy and independence … and I learned a lot.
On another side note – did you catch the part in the video where Cece is describing what’s in ‘Mint Explosion?” Cookie dough, mint and chocolate chips. Cece then asks here mom about adding sprinkles.
Just classic unpredictable kid stuff which made the video shoot so much fun. See you all Friday at Toucan Custard!
