October 25, 2021 – West Bend, WI – Former Milwaukee Brewer Gorman Thomas was in West Bend on Saturday and the first thing he asked about was “the explosion down the street.” He was referring to what remained of the once bustling West Bend Brewery.
The scene is rather grim as what was once a large employer and part of the fabric of the community has been reduced to a pile of twisted metal and rubble.
