September 29, 2021 – West Bend, WI – The West Bend West Spartans volleyball beat the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes in a tough 4 set match. They won the first two sets 25 – 18, 25 – 14 but struggled in the third 8 -25.
The Spartans put that set behind them and focused on the next set. They worked together as a team to persevere and came back stronger winning 25 – 16.
The girls came together and overcame their mental errors. Most importantly, they never gave up, which allowed them to secure the win.
Kylee Altendorf led the team with 9 kills, 7 digs and 3 ace serves. Kelsey Corbett had 23 assists and 2 ace serves. Rory Griffin added 6 kills.
The Spartans are 3 – 2 in the North Shore Conference. The team will travel to Port Washington on Thursday for a 7:00 p.m. match
