VIDEO | Culver’s in Hartford a “total loss” following early morning fire

September 11, 2021 – Hartford, WI – A fire has taken its toll on the Culver’s restaurant in Hartford. This morning, September 11, 2021, the Hartford Fire & Rescue requested MABAS BOX 16-1-1 to the FIRST ALARM level for a working structure fire at the Culver’s, 1570 E. Sumner Street in the City of Hartford, WI.

Early reports from the scene indicated massive flames as the fire spread quickly across the front of the building.

Property loss management

When Hartford firefighters arrived on the scene they found the source of the fire which started in the kitchen area. The fire quickly spread. Flames could be seen across the exterior roofline and there was heavy smoke.

Hartford Fire Chief Paul Stephans said the building was a total loss.
