Helen M. Ebert, formerly of the Town of Osceola, went home to her Lord on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac with her beloved family gathered around her. She was born in the Town of Osceola on November 8, 1927, the daughter of Herman and Elizabeth (McEnroe) Lichtensteiger. On Sept. 21, 1946, Helen married Carl F. Ebert in Campbellsport. Helen worked at Amity Leather for 25 years before retiring and was a member of Trinity Luther Church, Dundee and the Ladies Aide Society. She enjoyed polka music, dancing, going on trips, shopping and going out to eat.
Survivors include her children Sharon (Thomas) Thompson of Campbellsport, Marvin (Sharon) Ebert of Ocala, FL, Myron (Janice) Ebert of Campbellsport, Arlene (Todd) Feyen of Campbellsport and Darwin Ebert of Kewaskum, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, her sister Stella (Elton) Ludwig of Kewaskum, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl on January 13, 2002, her daughter-in-law Cheryl Ebert, her brother Lawrence (Celia) Lichtensteiger, her sisters Loretta (Dallas) Wirkus, Gertrude (Bernard) Petrich, Rosie (Eddie) Foss and Vicky (Bernard) Zimpher, and infant siblings Jacob and Geraldine.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 6th, at 5:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Dundee, (W494 Elm St., Campbellsport). Rev. Robert Oberg will officiate and burial follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, from 1:00 PM until time of services at the church. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
