July 27, 2021 – Germantown, WI – Chaplain James Maersch of the Korean War Veterans Association conducts military honors at a memorial service for Corporal Richard A. Bell who, on July 24, 1950, was Washington County’s first Korean War casualty.
Cpl. Bell, United States Army, is buried at Our Saviors United Church of Christ Cemetery in Germantown, Wis. The war memorial ceremony is held annually.
