Horicon Man Nabbed for Child Sex Crime/Possession

oshkosh policeOn June 22, 2016 at 10:45 pm the Oshkosh Police Department arrested a 29-year-old male from Horicon, Wisconsin for using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime and possessing with intent to deliver marijuana.

The arrest came after an Oshkosh Police investigator, posing as a 14-year-old female, chatted online with the subject. The subject then traveled to Oshkosh to meet the girl and allegedly sell her marijuana and engage in sexual activity.

This investigation is ongoing and no further information is being released at this time.

The Oshkosh Police Department wants to remind citizens that the internet and social media can be dangerous for children. This incident is just one of the many that occur each day throughout the U.S.  Please monitor your children’s computer and phone usage and educate your children on the dangers of the internet and social media.
