April 1, 2021 – Kewaskum, WI – Dear Editor,
Within private and public sector job postings, interested candidates will apply for consideration. In doing so, experience is leveraged suggesting credentials: places they’ve worked, objectives they’ve met, positions held, leadership skills, a nice person, etc..
What most cannot do however is state proven capabilities ‘in’ the role they’re applying for, NOT the case for Kewaskum Board candidate Jim Leister.
Mr. Leister has specifically given of himself to the Kewaskum School District for more than 20 years!! He’s done it properly, starting from Board committee service to ultimately becoming a Board member.
His education along this path has been very extensive and deep, earning him the support of the current Board by his election as President. It’s clear to the Board that Mr. Leister was not only the right person at the right time for this right role, he’s proven himself time and again by his effective leadership ‘in’ the role.
Kewaskum electorate, it’s working in immeasurable ways!! The effectiveness of the Board has returned after 6+ years of tension and dysfunction and Mr. Leister is the catalyst. He is objective and fair, holds required focus on the Board to work collaboratively in obtaining desired results for KSD students and its employees.
He keeps the interests of the taxpayer a priority. Mr. Leister is a man of faith in the Lord, is structured, has principal convictions, is passionate for his community and best of all, he possesses a humble and selfless character.
If there were ever a person more deserving of your vote to not only sustain the goodness achieved and ensure continued success for his KSD ‘family’, it’s Mr. Jim Leister. It will be my honor to cast my ballot for this quality citizen servant. Please join the full Board in maintaining this deeply appreciated candidate for Kewaskum School Board, Mr. Jim Leister.
Respectfully yours,
Timothy Ramthun
KSD Board of Education
