March 29, 2021 – West Bend, WI – My name is Kyle Zwieg and I’d be honored to earn your vote Tuesday, April 6th as our next District 6 Alderman on the West Bend Common Council.
For years our district found itself in good hands, represented by a kind and honest man who put our needs first. The late Ald. Steven Hoogester was a pillar of our community and reflected the unique ability to bridge gaps and stand up for what’s great about West Bend. I am confident on day one I can both honor this legacy and represent the values of our district.
I grew up in District 6. My wife and I chose to set down permanent roots and raise our own family right here.
I have been blessed with rewarding careers in finance and communications. This gives me a unique perspective that adds immediate value to our council. I can evaluate largescale projects, measure financial impacts, and communicate benefits to each stakeholder. I have keen insight into market conditions and can bring a fiscally conservative mindset to better handle the complicated budget process. Coming out of the pandemic, we have limited funds but growing needs. Responsible fiscal stewards are needed, and a third tax increase in short order cannot happen. We need to dig into the needs of many departments, including our allies in public safety, to ensure we set responsible workable budgets that meet every need without raising taxes.
In addition to my career, I have served with the West Bend Area Chamber and Economic Development/Washington County’s Marketing Committee, and currently serve on our award-winning West Bend Communications/CTV Committee. I have established rewarding long-term relationships throughout town.
I am ready to tackle the hard problems. I have a personal vested interest in seeing our city succeed not only for my family, but for yours. Please remember to vote Kyle Zwieg for District 6 Alderman.
