UPDATE2: According to Germantown Police five people have been transported to a local hospital and the chemical spill has been contained to within the building. As of 12:45 p.m. emergency crews are still on scene.

Multiple agencies responding to a hazardous materials situation in Germantown at the Gehl’s Guernsey Farm, N166 W15970 at the intersection at Highway 145 and Crusader Court. This is the old plant downtown just east of the Barley Pop. Please avoid the area.
Emergency crews responding include Germantown, Boltonville, Jackson, Slinger, Richfield, West Bend, and the Washington County Sheriff.
According to authorities the page came in at 11:06 a.m. regarding a spill of chloride mix and sulfuric acid.
