January 12, 2021 – Slinger, WI – The Slinger Lady Owls hosted the Cedarburg Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday evening and had a rough go of it.
The Lady Owls led most of the first half only to let Cedarburg pull within 3 points going into the half 22 – 19.
The same theme held true in the second half with Cedarburg securing the win down the stretch, 47 – 44.
Leading scorer for Cedarburg was Claire Former with 22 points including three 3-pointers.
Slinger was led by Mallory Hoitink with 13 points and Samantha Goeller dropped in 10. Seven Lady Owls finished in the scoring column.
Slinger hosts Whitefish Bay on Friday night, January 15.
