West Bend, WI – There will be no garbage collection in the City of West Bend on Wednesday, December 30 and Thursday, December 31.
City officials said because snow is in the forecast overnight into Wednesday, all Public Works employees are needed for snow removal.
An automated garbage truck is also down for repairs and additional employees are required for this holiday garbage collection due to double routes; these extra employees are also needed for snow removal.
Recycling collection will continue as scheduled. Wednesday and Thursday garbage collection will resume as normal next week on January 6 and 7, 2021.
City of West Bend residents will be allowed to use the drop-off yard on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, even if you don’t have a permit sticker.
The drop-off yard is at 251 Municipal Drive, West Bend, and will be open on Wednesday, Dec. 30 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Permit stickers are available for purchase upon arrival at the Public Works Office. Please enter and exit the driveway south of the building.

Tuesday and Thursday | Summer (April 1-Sept. 14, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.), Fall (Sept. 15 to Nov 1, 7 a.m. to sunset) and Winter (Nov. 2 to Mar. 31, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
Saturday (Weather Permitting) | March-November (8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., every Saturday) and December-February (8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., second and last Saturdays)
