More details should be released in the coming day about funeral services for George Fassbinder who died over the weekend.
Fassbinder was a long time volunteer, over 20 years, with the Full Shelf Food Pantry.
He was a cook in the Navy during WWII, 1945 – 1948. “I cooked for 1,800 – 2,000,” said Fassbinder. “We were a small city on an aircraft carrier, kinda like the size of Barton.”
Fassbinder was also a butcher at the National Tea and he his wife Corliss were charter members at Hon-E-Kor in Kewaskum.
