November 5, 2020 – West Bend, WI – Richard Elden “Rick” Loberger, 63, of West Bend, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, MI.
Rick was born on December 28, 1956 in Wallace, Michigan, the son of Elden and Eldoris (nee Anderson) Loberger. He was an electrical engineer and owned MRL Inc. for 25 years. Rick loved aviation and flying with friends.
Rick also enjoyed horses and horseback riding with his daughter and pulling pranks on his children. He recently took up sailing on the great lakes and blue water with the hopes of sailing in Panama once he retired. Rick lived a life full of adventure and was not afraid to try anything while giving it his all.
Those Rick leaves behind to cherish his memory include his three children; Rick (Kassy) Loberger, Daniel Loberger, and Victoria Loberger all of West Bend; two grandchildren, Lucas and Liam Loberger; his mother, Eldoris Loberger; one sister, Sherril (Gary) Hanson; two brothers, Michael (Tammy) Loberger and Dale (Shelly) Loberger; and many other relatives and friends.
Rick was preceded in death by his father Elden Loberger.
Due to Covid-19 a memorial service in honor of Rick will be held at a later date.

Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Rick’s arrangements.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jeremy Loberger for his support and medical advice; Walter Schreiner for being a good friend; Brenda Woodman for being a dear friend of his. The staff of the Spectrum Health Renucci Hospitality House for caring for the family while visiting their father.
