October 10, 2020 – Town of West Bend, WI – Ground was broken for the new Gentle Dental Emporium at the northwest corner of Highway P and County Highway NN.

“We’re so excited to have the new dental office. My dad started the practice in 1983 and we’re excited to have broken ground,” said Dr. Kristine K. Neuburg DDS.

“My favorite part of the new site is the hill on the property and the woodsy nature of the location. I’m able to have an exposed basement and we’re really going to have a beautiful building,” she said.

Dr. Kristine K. Neuburg DDS and her husband are building a new Gentle Dental Emporium. The locally-owned practice is currently at 533 S. Main Street in West Bend.

“The integrity of the dental office is so important to us. We’ve been in the West Bend community a long time; we’re a local business and we hope to be a blessing to all,” said Neuburg.

According to Schmidt the building will be about 3,400 square feet, it will feature eight rooms – four for doctor operation and four for hygiene.

Old timers will recall that corner where one of the Groth boys stored his popcorn wagons. “I remember driving past and stopping to look in the little white building in back of the property,” said Aron Rodman from Extra Mile Landscape “The building had basically fallen in on itself and there were a bunch of shoes all over the place.”

Aside from the popcorn wagons Groth also sold and repaired shoes in the area.

Dr. Jim Bero, Gentle Dental

Dr. Neuburg’s dad Kenneth Bero started the Gentle Dental practice. A 1980 dental school graduate, Bero worked at a practice on the second floor of a building on Hawthorn Drive and S. Main Street before stepping out on his own.

“I liked the visibility of the location at 533 N. Main Street. We remodeled the front office and I was cleaning teeth and my wife was the receptionist,” Bero said. “After 10 years the practice grew and grew so remodeled into the back apartment area.”

During the groundbreaking Pastor Mike with Kettlebrook Church prayed for protection, prosperity and God’s purpose.

“We pray that this location would be the source of great prosperity and Father would you continue to provide great people. Finally, we pray for Kristine and Jim to guide this staff and we pray that You get the glory in Jesus name,” said Mike.

The new location is expected to be open at the end of April 2021.
