Obit: Dorothea Agnes Bremser, 97, West Bend

OI377810890_DBremserDorothea Agnes Bremser (Nee Brodzeller) age 97, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2016.  She was born to Arnold and Lydia (Nee Wild) Brodzeller on June 28, 1918 in Lomira, WI.  She married the late Lloyd Bremser on April 21, 1941 and together they had one child.

Despite her difficult upbringing Dorothea counted herself as fortunate.  She was always giving of herself to help others in need.  Gardening and baking were among her passions in life and sharing those things with her family and friends brought her great happiness. Dorothea’s pride and joy were her grand and great-grandchildren and she will be deeply missed by her family.

Dorothea is survived by her son Bill (Carol) Bremser; grandchildren, Becky Bremser and Matt (Erin) Bremser; great-grandchildren, Liam and Chloe; brother Jerome Brodzeller; sisters, Mary Jane Jensen, Fran Sandberg and Pat Behnke; brother-in-law, Leo Mueller, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, four brothers and one sister and several in-laws.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday May 27, 2016 at The Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI) with Deacon Mark Jansen presiding. The visitation will be from 11:30 AM until the time of service.  Private family interment will be at Washington County Memorial Park.
