Obituary | Lazaro Emilio Trevino, 65, of Hartford

August 24, 2020 – Hartford, WI – Lazaro Emilio Trevino, 65, passed away on August 23, 2020 at the Froedtert of West Bend hospital. He was born on August 8, 1955 in Laredo, TX to the late Sotero and Olivia (nee Wolff) Trevino. He came to WI in the early 1970’s and attended Hartford Union High and completed with a HSED and later went onto the University of Virginia for job related education.

Lazaro married his love, Darlene Mae (nee Traczyk) Trevino on March 2, 1974 in Hartford, WI. He worked for AMCAST in Cedarburg for 23 plus years as a Forklift Driver and was President of the Local 185 Union. Lazaro also worked for the Slinger Foundry until it closed and different odd jobs in the Slinger area. He attended school for truck driving and is last employment for truck driving was for E.H. Wolf in Slinger for 6 plus years, asked to retire due to health-related disability issues.

Lazaro is survived by his wife, Darlene; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Traczyk; sisters, Frances Trevino of San Antonio, TX and Irma Vasuez of San Antonio, TX; sister-in-law, Juanita Trevino of Laredo, TX; brother-in-law, Valentine Rios of Edingburg, TX, aunt and uncle, John and Martha Swada of Chicago, IL and his dog-Morgan (she was his little girl). He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lazaro is preceded in death by his parents, his 2 sons Nicholas Paul Trevino and Larry Leo Trevino, grandparents Ignacio and Juanita Wolff, brothers Sotero C. Trevino, Teodoro A. Trevino, Jose R. Trevino and sisters Olivia T. Rios, Maria H. Esponza.

A special thank you to his nephew Kik Trevino, Chuck Schmit and Bob Stuettgen for helping the family during this time.
