Kimberly “Kimmie” N. Landon, age 21 years of West Bend, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, May 17, 2016.
Kimmie was born on July 21, 1994 to Timothy and Jessica (nee McConkey). She attended West Bend East High School. Kimmie loved to attend music festivals, shopping, loved to draw, wrote poetry, and her wish was to become a professional photographer. She was also a “prankster” and loved to make everyone laugh. She lit up every room she walked into with her bubbly and loud personality, never failing to put a smile on everyone’s face. Kimmie was sensitive and loving with a pure soul that would do anything for anyone. She had a glow about herself that will never be put out.
Kimmie is survived by her parents Tim and Jessica, sister Samantha “Samie”, nephew Carter Dale. She is further survived by her grandmother Sharon Backhaus, grandfather Steve Backhaus and William Landon, great grandfather John Julson and Jim Laing, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by her grandfather Dale McConkey, grandmother Diana Landon, great-grandmothers Margaret Julson, Edna Laing, Hilda Veit, Cleo McConkey, Ella Duchow and great-grandfather Clarence Veit, great-great grandmother Lucille “little grandma” Rolo.
A Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 25 from 4:00 pm until the time of service (6:00 pm). Memorials are appreciated to the family.
