Obituary | Robert “Bob” Cummings, 50, of Port Washington

July 20, 2020 – Port Washington, WI – Robert “Bob” Cummings, 50, of Port Washington was called home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2020 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee surrounded by his loving family.

 

Bob was born on January 23, 1970 in Milwaukee to Leroy and Norma Cummings  (Kleinschmidt).  He was united in marriage to Diane Dachs on March 15, 2019 in Port Washington.

Bob graduated from West Bend West High School.  He worked at Charter Steel in Saukville for 10 years.  Bob was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and was obsessed with keeping up with all of his yard projects.  He was well-known for his catch phrases like:  “Money” “Easy” “Cheeze.”  At work he would always say to his buddies:  “Let’s Gooo!” “Git R Done!” Bob was best know for saying, “Just livin’ the dream!”

 

 

 

 

 

Those Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Diane; three daughters, Sarah (fiancé Alex Howard) Sobelman, Erica Roberts Sobelman, and Jessica Sobelman; three step-children, Alicia Gray, Stephan Kattar, Samantha (Eric) Rucks; three granddaughters, Emma Sobelman, Ella Sobelman, and Maisy Rucks.  He is further survived by two sisters, Colleen (Mark) Wimberly and Cheryl (Bill) Borchardt; brother-in-law, Chuck Dachs; and two sisters-in-law, Dawn (Steve) Goralski and Janice Hefter; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Norma Cummings.

A private memorial service was held for Bob’s family.
