Harold “Pete” J. Schlaefer, age 78, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend.
He is survived by his children, Peter (Elizabeth) and Sue (Cary) Krajcik; grandchildren, Samantha (Tom) Staude, Kimberly (Jon) Hoesly, and Thomas; great-grandchildren Brady and Elena Staude with one on the way. He is further survived by his former wife, Gretchen; other relatives and friends.
Pete is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Laura (nee Dettman); sister Grace Goehner and brother George Schlaefer.
A private family service was held.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kathy Hospice for all their care.
