Some of the Catholic priests in the community are being reassigned.
At Holy Angels Rev. Pat Heppe will be the new pastor replacing Rev. Gerald Brittain.
At St. Frances Cabrini and Immaculate Conception Parish Rev. Enrique Hernandez has been assigned to a pair of part-time positions. He will be Vocations Promoter and associate pastor at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Milwaukee.
Rev. Justin Lopina has been assigned as shared associate pastor of St. Mary’s and St. Frances Cabrini Parishes.
Rev. Cliff Ermatinger has been assigned as associate pastor to serve the West-Bend area Spanish-speaking community.
Rev. Nathan Reesman has been asked by the Archbishop to do further academic studies. He has been accepted into the Doctor of Ministry program at Mundelein Seminary, part time, and he will begin his studies at the end of this summer while remaining pastor of both St. Mary’s and St. Frances Cabrini.
St. Francis de Sales Seminary is assigning a seminary student to work at St. Frances Cabrini and St. Mary’s for the summer. His name is Stephen Buting and he will arrive in West Bend in July.
