Obituary | Valerie J. Cvikel, 55, of Jackson

April 4, 2020 – Jackson, WI – Valerie J. Cvikel, 55, of Jackson, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, with her husband at her side.

Valerie was born on January 18, 1965, in Waupun. The daughter of Bernadine Van De Berg, Dennis and Judy Churney.

On June 2, 1984, she was united in marriage to Randy Cvikel at St. Martini Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.

Valerie was a loving and devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and an extraordinary friend to everyone. She will be remembered by all for her big contagious smile, her fondness of traveling with Randy, and her passion toward family and friends. Valerie loved to sing and dance, which she is now able to do once again with her Savior.

All of those that Valerie leaves behind will cherish her in memory; Husband Randy, daughter Sarah Cvikel; son Zachary (Amanda) Cvikel along with four grandchildren: Cecilia, Charlie, Eileen, and Alice; and all other family and friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all who helped with her care and keeping her spirits up, especially Amanda Cvikel, Kelly & Robert Fulhart, Donna & Dan Santana, Jim Cvikel, and Terry Cvikel.

Because of current restrictions, a private service will be held for Valerie’s family at Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home.

Large luncheon to follow when permitted.

Valerie’s funeral service will be recorded. The video of the service will be posted at the funeral home website.
