6 fire departments called to Cedarburg fire | By Cedarburg Fire Dept.

January 6, 2024 – Cedarburg, WI – Early in the evening on January 5, 2024, the Cedarburg Fire Department was requested for a fire on Portland Ave. The fire was discovered by a passer-by. Upon arrival, a working fire was confirmed and Full Still Alarm 1-11 was requested by the Chief.

The first arriving engine company located the fire in the attic and started attacking the fire. Crews from Village of Grafton Fire Department, Southern Ozaukee Fire and EMS, Jackson Fire Department, Port Washington Fire/Rescue, Germantown Wisconsin Fire Department, and Waubeka Fire Department all assisted on scene as the incident was elevated to the 1st Alarm.

Covering our station were the Belgium and North Shore Fire Departments. This marks the third fire the department has responded to this week and also the most significant.
