Washington County, WI – The Washington County Dairy Committee was all smiles Saturday at the Roden Echo Valley Farm, 5545 County Road Y, West Bend, WI as thousands of families turned out for the 35th annual Washington County Breakfast on the Farm.
Fantastic weather of sunny skies and temps in the upper 60s helped encourage families to attend the event according to coordinator Mike Strupp. And then…. there was the food.
And all-you-can-eat farm breakfast featuring pancakes, eggs, applesauce, sausage links and to celebrate June is Dairy Month there were endless supplies of fresh cheese curds and milk – chocolate, was apparently the flavor of choice.
The Roden Echo Valley is a 700+ cow dairy farm owned and operated by the Roden family.

There were lots of activities for families including riding a hay wagon, playing in the corn, petting a cow, pig, goat, or chicken…
The Roden farm was purchased in 1995 by Bob and Cindy Roden; Bob had started his own farm in the Town of Saukville. When he and Cindy married in 1983 she joined him and together they grew five more farmers.
When the family moved to their current location in the Town of Trenton they had 70 cows but since then they’ve made lots of changes including forming Roden Echo Valley, LLC in 2015 to prepare for future generations.
