Washington Co., Wi – The Washington County Dairy Promotions committee released a tally from the 34th annual Washington County Breakfast on the Farm.
According to Mike Strupp, “We served 3,800 people, 5,000 half pints of milk, 11,000 pancakes, 616 dozen eggs, 675 pounds of sausage links, 400 pounds of cheese curds, and 40 gallons of ice cream.”
“It was a little below average considering we had to shuttle people in and there were two other events in the county serving breakfast,” said Strupp.

“The host family, Dornacker Prairie Acers was overall pleased with the turnout. This year we had the most people go through the barn tours as it shows the importance of educating the general public on the workings of a dairy farm and that’s one of our goals.”
