Slinger, WI – The Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin (GCAW) is pleased to announce that Andrew Neusen, Zachary Greenhill, and Derrick Palm of Slinger High School are all 2023 Academic-All State honoree.
Students are submitted by GCAW coaches if they meet the following criteria:
1) A cumulative GPA of at least 3.25,
2) participation in at least 75% of their team’s varsity matches
3) are a sophomore, junior or senior.
The GCAW is proud to announce 432 students from 125 different high schools have been honored this year. In fact, the average GPA of these students is an exceptional 3.740.
The GCAW was formed by high school golf coaches in 1986 to help build and enhance Wisconsin’s reputation for developing quality junior players by promoting golf in our schools and communities.
For you seniors, best of luck as you prepare for your new challenges after high school. We trust that golf has taught you valuable lessons that you will always be able to draw upon as you face future challenges. For the returning underclassmen, we hope that you will continue pursuing golf, while at the same time maintaining the high academic standards that you have set for yourselves in the classroom.
