Hartford, WI — Two incumbents on the Hartford Union High School District (HUHSD) School Board filed non-candidacy for the upcoming 2025 Spring Election. Community members interested in running for School Board can submit candidacy paperwork before the January 7, 2025, deadline.
Both incumbent board members, Don Pridemore and Craig Westfall, have officially declared they will not seek reelection, leaving two three-year-term positions available on the Board. Terms will begin in April of 2025.

How to File for Candidacy
Prospective candidates must file a Campaign Registration Statement and a Declaration of Candidacy at the Hartford Union High School District Office located at:
805 Cedar Street, Hartford, Wisconsin 53027 (Entrance: Door 7, Southeast corner).
All documents must be received no later than Tuesday, January 7, 2025, by 5 p.m. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Candidate packets can be accessed online via the Candidate Packet link or picked up in person at the District Office during operating hours. Please note the office holiday closures and adjusted filing dates:
- Open for submissions: December 1–20, 2024, and January 2–6, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Extended hours on January 7, 2025: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Election and Additional Information
The Spring Election will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2025. If needed, a primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
