2 out on bond arrested again following pursuit in Fond du Lac County, Wi | By Sgt. Logan Will

December 16, 2024Fond du Lac Co., Wi – On Monday, December 16, 2024 at approximately 11:30 a.m., a deputy with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation on USH 151 north of CTH D, located in the Township of Fond du Lac.

Deputies were aware that a couple days prior, this vehicle had been involved in a vehicle pursuit with an agency within Winnebago County but there were currently no charges for anyone as the identity of the driver was unknown.

The vehicle pulled over for the deputy and during the course of the traffic stop the vehicle fled from the traffic stop resulting in a vehicle pursuit.

The vehicle exited USH 151 onto S. Hickory St. where the pursuing deputy performed a Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT), causing the vehicle to spin out and bringing the pursuit to an end.

The total length of the pursuit was 0.9 miles. Minor damage occurred to both vehicles during the PIT maneuver. No other damage occurred and no one was injured.

The driver, a 27-year-old female from Oshkosh, was transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges of felony fleeing / eluding, 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety, possession of THC, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was out on bond through Winnebago County after posting a cash bond for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct.

The passenger, a 31-year-old male from Oshkosh, was transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of THC, felony bail jumping, misappropriate identity to avoid penalty, resisting / obstructing, and a felony probation and parole warrant.

He was out on a $1,000 signature bond through Winnebago County for possession of methamphetamine.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was assisted during both the traffic stop and vehicle pursuit by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
