November 24, 2019 – Jackson, WI – Jackson Fire Department was assisted by 10 area agencies as it responded to a working structure fire at 555 HWY NN in the Town of Jackson.
Jackson Fire Captain Jeff Froemming said the call came in at 9:05 a.m. Upon arrival there was heavy smoke and flames coming from the west side of the building. The fire was reported by one of the tenants living in the home. Nobody was injured and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
It took about 45 minutes to knock the fire down. Froemming said the fire did not jump to any adjacent buildings. Insurance adjusters are expected in the coming days to determine the amount of damage.
