October 18, 2019 – Washington Co., WI – The UWM Washington County lady Wildcats entered the match against rivals UW-Green Bay Marinette with high stakes, since their previous lost against the competitor.
They started out strong with high energy, taking the first game as a win 25-23.
They continued with emotions high off of that first game and got a 10 point lead in the beginning of the second set only to end u losing both their energy and the game 26-28.
The third and final set was intense, the beams being neck and neck the whole time.
However, in the end the Wildcats were not able to pull out a win with a score of 18-25 and took away that they need to find a strategy to maintain their energy to win in the future.
We plan to head into the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference State tournament with lots of energy and positive attitudes.

Kayla Boehm with 10 kills and 5 blocks, Catrin Homuth with 6 kills and 2 blocks, Heather Pokorski with 21 digs and Caryn Hamm with 26 assists for kills.
