A recognizable face at West Bend Elevator has died | By West Bend Elevator

October 16, 2019 – West Bend, WI – A recognizable face at West Bend Elevator has died. Below is a post giving thanks to customers for spoiling Flash and making him feel welcome in the community.

Flash at West Bend Elevator

My name is Flash for the last 13 years I have been the greeter here at the West Bend Elevator. I have come to know all of you great customers it has been a pleasure to greet you in our family business. I really enjoyed the customers who always dropped a treat at their feet acting like it was a mistake that was tricky.

My owner never got it wink wink. My brothers Eddie, Reagan , Cash, Barley, and sometimes Jordy truly enjoy your drops.

I will truly miss everyone but it is my time to go to dog heaven. I want to thank everyone for the nice pets, head bumps, and the slow massage down my back felt good as I got older. I also have to really thank all my little buddies the kids the belly rubs and back scratches are still tickling thanks for the hugs and kisses. I have been here 13 years, long time for a Lab, I guess , but it has been the greatest 13 years I have met so many people it has been a dogs greatest day at work.

Next time you have to visit my work please drop a biscuit for my brother Eddie he doesn’t miss too many.

Thank you Flash

  1. Sending heartfelt thoughts and prayers for everyone at the Elevator! Flash was SO handsome and gentle. He will be sorely missed by many and especially Doug and family, I am sure.
